- Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and travels the world for editorial, advertising, and publishing
- Raised in upstate New York
- Traveled all over the US and Europe throughout her childhood
- Has a film and photography degree from Syracuse University
- Nominated for a James Beard award for photography in the Blue Chair Jam Cookbook

- Photographed, co-wrote, produced, and art directed her first book 'Paris to Provence: Childhood Memories of Food and France', which is now in it's 2nd printing
- Loves food, food people, food lovers, and cheese
- Thrives on the creative collaboration with agencies and clients, and loves seeing concepts come alive
- Makes every shoot dynamic and fun with the best talent available, lots of laughs, flexibility, communication, strong work ethic, and respect for her craft
- Lives on a nice, quiet little island called Alameda with her husband Dan and daughter Mahayla
- When not shooting, Sara is rock climbing, playing defense on her soccer team, dreaming about Big Sur, and dreaming about playing drums in an all female band
